Dyneema is a multidisciplinary work that combines dance, music, fshion and design in one performance. This dance runway show is a collaboration between fashion designer Tristan Nadeau and choreographer Maïka Giasson. Dyneema creatively presents clothing through dance, drawing inspiration from Tristan’s unique forms, fabrics and textures. The movement and garment creations are developed through a collaborative process and a constant exchange between disciplines. Creating a completely eclectic universe, dancers and models come together on stage to bring to life a unique performance that depicts a post-apocalyptic world. The atmosphere of the piece is characterized by avant-garde fashion style that contextualizes political and climatic challenges. Moving to electronic music, the protagonists embody energetic, precise, sensual and unrestrain movements.

After a devastating climate crisis, a group of visionaries comes together to rebuild a sustainable society. Utilizing the skills and unique strengths of each individual, they turn to digital techniques to develop innovative solutions. This new community created a future worth fighting for, leaving an enduring imprint on a world forever changed.
