Her interest in creation and photography first led Catherine Prefontaine to study cinema. After a few years during which she acquired tools that proved to be very useful to her, her passion for fashion pushed her to reconsider things. She courageously commits to a new start at the Marie-Victorin School of Fashion. Upon graduation, in the midst of the pandemic, she was chosen to represent her institution at the then virtual Fashion Preview festival.

These unusual years gave her the opportunity to spend a few months in Virginia working with horses, another of her great passions. During this retreat, she began to create ball gowns and dresses for local equestrian events. It was then that she had the idea of combining her contrasting inclinations for the simple life in the great outdoors, her creative instincts tinted with a pretty and subtle subversion, and her guilty pleasure for the sense of show into a single collection. What better than denim to embody the freedom of a dream of life in the country or even the most casual in the city! So it was a matter of drawing on the origins of “jeans”, in the western tradition, which has evolved over time to more fashionable versions, to now dare to reinvent it … and sprinkle it with a touch of eccentricity.

Her mission will be to create unique, eclectic and durable designs to allow his clients to stand out from the crowd by their style.

Its long-term corporate vision is to create in a way that produces a minimum of waste, by sending, for example, the scraps to organizations that recover them, or by reusing in an original and novel way materials, accessories or hardware left behind by large industries, to design locally and to make eco-sensitive choices. The collections will be voluntarily made in smaller quantities in order to keep it within the demand, or else to curl it, in order to avoid losses.
