Fall and back to school are always the best times to pull out your schoolgirl looks and slip into the shoes of Serena Van Der Woodsen for a day. This season, we’re on checkered skirts, berets and ballet flats for a preppy chic style that we love! To modernize the look, add a slightly loose tie and an oversized coat.

Pssst… Take a look in your boyfriend’s, father’s or grandfather’s wardrobe to find the most beautiful ties!
And yes, just because summer is over doesn’t mean you can’t wear bold colors anymore! Last winter, Pantone spotted the trendy colors on the New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2022 runways, among them we have red (Lava Falls), yellow (Samoan Sun), orange (Orange Tiger ), pink (Rose Violet) and green (Amazon).
But how to wear them? It’s simple: have fun! This season, we’re testing the monochrome look, the color block, complementary color combinations or just the little colorful touches for a more casual outfit.

Since the Italian brand Ferrari presented its first ready-to-wear collection in June 2021, racing driver codes have started to appear as much in the collections of the biggest designers as in street looks. This fall, the trend is even more present in the fashion capitals (and elsewhere) and it is not uncommon to come across looks made up of checkerboard prints, leather jackets or even patches reminiscent of the sponsors of Formula 1 racers.

Tip: Go take a look in thrift stores, you will be surprised how many old racer style coats you can find!
Sheer and light fabrics are famous this fall and we are completely obsessed! This trend was already popular this summer, thanks to the Louisa Ballou sets which created a buzz among fashionistas. This season, we don’t wear sheer clothes to the beach (unfortunately), but for our party evenings or even daily. We wear the sheer top with a pretty bra underneath or even layered with other tops. If there is lace, it’s even better!

Now that the pandemic is over and we can go back to the office, it’s time to bring out your best suit sets. This fall, we observe a major influence of the 1990s in our wardrobe and it is also valid for office looks! Slightly oversized cuts and shoulders, shades of brown and checks are in the spotlight.

Once again, go take a look through your fathers’ and grandfathers’ wardrobes or even in thrift stores to find little gems from the 90s!
